Tariq Abu-Jaber has served for over 25 years in leadership positions across the healthcare spectrum. In his current role on the Burgess senior team, he drives the development of analytic and data management services and products, focusing on business-critical client deliverables, product development and strategic planning. Throughout his career, Mr. Abu-Jaber has been committed to offering payers and providers the highest value information to improve their operations and achieve their desired outcomes, whether in a role as external consultant, solutions vendor, or as a member of the organization’s senior management team.

In the course of Mr. Abu-Jaber’s healthcare management career, his engagements with all of the constituents in the healthcare ecosystem have allowed him to develop a unique 360-degree understanding of the industry. Mr. Abu-Jaber has served in the role of Vice President of Medical Informatics both for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and, prior to that, for Anthem/WellPoint, where he created and led the informatics teams at both organizations. He directed Product Management for McKesson Health Solutions, focusing on analytic products and services for payers and providers, and, before that, led the consulting function for Cambridge Health Economics Group. His professional experience also includes leadership roles in education and non-profits. He is passionate about ensuring long-term sustainability and continuous improvement in the American healthcare system by developing and executing on actionable, practical solutions that directly improve quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness for all.
