Jérôme Selva, Vice President of Development and Appliance Enablement, leads DevIT for IBM Analytics and the end-to-end order-to-cash operations for appliances across Analytics, Security and Systems. His responsibilities cover five global disciplines: agile IT infrastructure for development, new products’ introduction through platform enablement and services, demand/supply and quality management, installations, business and process transformation. He joined IBM in 2000, in Paris, and held a number of international, headquarter and transversal positions leading multi-cultural teams.

Most recently Jérôme, as the Director of Operations for the Netēzza data warehouse appliance brand, brought a culture of agility and transparency, after being the CFO leading the successful integration and business performance of this $1.8B acquisition (2010).

In 2008, Jérôme relocated to Dubai, where he first served as the Business Development Manager focused on geo expansion and organization change in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa, then as the Controller enabling growth.

Previously, Jérôme served in NY as the Consolidation Manager for IBM Americas and in global headquarter roles supporting continued transformation while delivering growth.

Prior to IBM, Jérôme was a Consultant for a start-up and led troops as an Officer of the French Army serving in France and Germany. He earned an MBA (UK), an MS in Finance (France), and graduated from Saint Cyr Officer School (eq. WestPoint). He is supported by his wife, Corinne and their two children – Mélanie and Maxime.
