Jen Mahone is a Human Capital thought leader and Business Partner with over 10 years of corporate and nonprofit experience. An innovative and seasoned change agent with a proven capability for linking Diversity & Inclusion strategies to talent analytics, and metrics of the business and employee performance. Recognized as a savvy communicator who brings a depth and breadth of knowledge and external partnerships to complement any organization’s Human Resource programs, as well as proven experience in Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Management & Acquisition, Organizational Development, Communication strategy design and implementation.

She currently serves as an Executive HR Diversity Consultant, and as the Sr. Group Manager for HR Professional Services at PSG and in her most previous role she was the Corporate Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion at New York Life Insurance Company where she oversaw the Management of Employee Resource Groups and Diversity & Inclusion Communications and Culture. Under her direction the value of Diversity & Inclusion to the business was established by measuring ROI, culture change management, and integrating D&I into business unit processes to create collaborative sustainable change.

Prior to joining New York Life, Jen Mahone was the Manager of Inclusion Practices at CDW where she oversaw the CDW Inclusion Training Academy, 10 Business Resource Groups, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Enterprise Wide and Diversity & Inclusion Communications, all programs that she created and established putting CDW as a Best Practice Leader of Diversity and Inclusion in the industry.

She has established a reputation as an innovative inclusion change agent, resulting in year-over-year growth in:

Jen is a national speaker, and has spoken at leading diversity summits including the 2011 & 2012 keynote speaker for the OPEN Network, 2012 NALC Regional Speaker, 2013 Multicultural Workplace Diversity Forum and the 2013 Illinois Diversity Council Women’s Conference. She is a certified diversity executive and a certified trainer for Managing Inclusion. In addition, Jen served as the President for the Illinois Diversity Council where she was responsible for making diverse workforces a reality by working with companies, schools, and communities in Illinois to promote diversity and inclusion. In her role she also developed a strategic plan that is tasked to increase membership & participation by 25% by the end of 2013 in its inaugural year.

In her spare time, Jen serves as the Scholarship Chairwoman for the Mary Lou & Arthur F. Mahone Fund which was established in 2000 to help honor and advance the legacy of service and commitment that her grandparents represented during their lifetimes. The fund provides a 4 year $1,000 college scholarship to graduating high school seniors from the Kenosha Unified School District who have participated in the CEO (Career Exploration Organization) and is designed to match low to moderate income youth with a business mentor in order to ascertain, develop, and pursue their career goals. To date the program has awarded 200 scholarships.
