Angela Bakker Lee, has more than twenty years of strategic planning and implementation experience in healthcare and life sciences. She leads IBM’s Global Business Services healthcare practice.
She has been a featured speaker at many industry conferences, a contributing author and a guest lecturer on the topics of go to market strategy, commercial excellence, and value-based transformation. She has presented education sessions on Marketing strategy and Value Creation in Healthcare for her clients in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.
Dr. Bakker-Lee also serves on the advisory boards of Life Aire Systems, Truveris and GW New York. Prior to joining IBM, she served as the General Manager of GW New York, a privately held Advertising Agency. And she spent 14 years at ZS Associates, a management consulting firm, specializing in Healthcare and Analytics. As an equity partner at ZS, she managed a global business with clients in more than 40 countries and worked with healthcare manufacturers as well as payers and healthcare providers. Dr. Bakker Lee spent the early part of her career as a Research Scientist and working in the start-up community in bioinformatics. She holds a BA in English from Stanford University, and received a PhD in Immunology as a Marshall Scholar in the UK.
